Colleen Mathis has an education in theatre performance and direction, and has funneled her talents into studio photography and storytelling. She runs Mearcair Studios, and is a member of Starfish Studios, a photography collective in Pioneer Square.

Cyra Hobson

Cyra Hobson is a multimedia artist whose work is heavily influenced by rhetorical theory and social philosophy. She has been a painter for over ten years and has recently begun the move into sculpture, working primarily in metal and stone. She is a member of Surattle and the Iron Monkeys blacksmithing collective.

Jacob Peter Fennell

Jacob Peter Fennell is an interdisciplinary artist who specializes in interactive installations. Fennell runs FNL Design, a design studio that creates websites, animation, interactive programming, and custom electronics. Fennell earned his MFA from the Pacific Northwest College of Art.

Antonio Knoy creates utilitarian frabrication as well as yacht bling and stainless steel jewelry. His inspirations include sailing, well-marinated portabellos, vintage machinery, and the simplicity and symmetry of nature.

Hazel Strathmann

Hazel Strathmann is a metal artist in the Seattle area. Much of her work is custom furniture featuring sleek lines in a contemporary style, although she also ventures to the more abstract. Her aesthetic tends to fine craftsmanship with a slight slant of a darker, somewhat tribal line.

John Wooten AKA Johnny Smokes

Johnny Smokes has been designing and fabricating functional erotic art for over ten years for individual clients. His work has been used and featured on the websites of House of Gord and Naked Gord. Previously-shown work includes The Invisible Box.

Kevin MacDonald

Kevin MacDonald hails from Toronto, where he was a machinist and engineer. In Seattle he discovered a vibrant art community which now fuels his passion to build mechanistic art. While busy raising his son he finds time to create kinetic sculpture and functional art in stainless steel, brass, bronze, and aluminum.

Miguel Edwards

Miguel Edwards has been a fine art photographer in Seattle and showing internationally for fifteen years. In the last year he has been expanding his artistic focus, has secured representation for his sculpture, and participated in juried sculpture exhibitions such as CoCA's first annual Heaven and Earth Show in Carkeek Park in 2009.

Rita Martello

Rita Martello majored in printmaking and metalworking, although her current favorite medium is the ball-point pen. She is inspired by the mythological, and is slowly coming around to the idea of creating beautiful things as a way of making a living.

Thadd Grossi

Thadd Grossi was born in Billings, MT and moved to Seattle in 1990. He accepted a blacksmithing and metal fabrication apprenticeship offer in 1995 and has been producing metal art and furnishings ever since. Currently doing business as Thadd Works.
